Why Screen Print?
RaceCals has been screen printing decals for the racing industry for the past 30 years. And there is a reason for this. Our aim is to provide you with the best solution and the best value. Most often that means recommending our tried and tested screen printing formula:
HEAVY INK DEPOSIT
Screen printing lays down a heavy layer of ink. This makes for an extremely high quality and durable print. In fact our decals have such an innate durability, they do not need a separate lamination stage and will last many years.
PREMIUM INK QUALITY
We use the brightest premium inks to ensure your image pops. We can also color match to Pantone colors to ensure your brand is accurately represented.
PREMIUM QUALITY VINYL
We use premium 4 mil vinyl with high tack. This ensures they stay put and aids with the durability.
COST EFFECTIVENESS
Screen printing is cost effective for medium to large runs. Most of our larger orders (1,000 – 20,000) are well suited for the racing series or parts company.
FAST TURNAROUND
We have a unique setup for screen printing. We can turn around an order in 3-4 hours from screen preparation to ship. This allows us to compete with the faster ship times promised by digital print shops.
Why Digital?
RaceCals can also be digitally printed. We have top of the line digital print equipment to make sure we can meet your needs.
IMAGE COMPLEXITY
Sometimes the image is too complex for screen printing to be cost effective. Screen printing works by pushing ink through a screen. Each screen is one color. We need to separate the colors of your image into multiple screens. Typically screen printing remains cost effective up until 3-4 colors depending on the size of the decal and the size of the order. However for digital printing, we are feeding your file directly to the printer and it requires little modification.
SHORTER RUNS
For orders up to 500, digital printing can be the most cost effective.
QUALITY MATERIALS
We use quality vinyl and often recommend lamination to help protect the decal from UV and give it some chemical resistance.
PROTOTYPING
Want to test out a decal before the big order? We can print and cut your order with a minimum quantity of 100-150 pieces.

DIE CUTTING
We have many stock shapes and sizes that you may choose from. You can use any of our stock dies and avoid the cost of a custom die. If you need a shape all your own, no problem. Custom die costs are based on the size and complexity. Simple shapes are cheaper than ones with lots of points, corners and bends. We only need to see the size and shape for a quote. And if you don’t have the exact shape figured out we can help design the best least expensive way.
DIGITAL PRINTING
Need a big sticker for the side of a hauler? Large photographs or murals? How about a sheet of mini stickers for product ID. Digital printing is best for short runs with multi colors.
SIGNS
Need one or two banners for a special event or show? How about an A-frame or dimensional letter sign? We produce many types of signage at our sister company IBC Signs.
DESIGNING
We’ve been doing it for years! We know racing and we know “the look”. Send us your ideas and we’ll work up a few concepts for you. It’s affordable too as many simple designs can be done in just a few hours time at our reasonable rates.
